🔄 Return Policies – The Bit Equestrian
1. Completion and Transfer of Ownership
The purchase agreement is concluded when www.thebiteequestrian.com accepts the Customer's purchase offer. In the event of partial acceptance, the contract will be deemed valid only for the products included in said acceptance.
For cash-on-delivery purchases, ownership of the products transfers to the Customer upon payment at the delivery location.
If the Customer fails to make the corresponding payment, this will be considered a breach of contract, which entitles www.thebiteequestrian.com to terminate the contract. In such cases, the Customer must bear the costs of returning the products and be liable for any damages incurred.
2. Shipping Charges and Taxes
The Customer is responsible for covering all shipping, handling, and insurance costs, as well as any taxes (VAT, duties, and other applicable charges) incurred with their purchase.
Upon completing the order at www.thebiteequestrian.com, the Customer will be able to view the total amount due, which includes all the aforementioned items.
In the case of imported products 🌎, the taxes and duties incurred upon import will be the Customer's responsibility. These amounts may vary due to adjustments by Colombian customs authorities. Any additional costs will also be the Customer's responsibility.
3. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
The Customer has a maximum period of three (3) business days after delivery to withdraw from the purchase and request a return of the product, in accordance with the provisions of Law 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Statute).
To accept a return, the product must meet the following conditions:
Be in perfect condition, with no signs of use, damage, or misuse.
Keep its packaging, original box, and labels.
Include all accessories, manuals, or additional items that were delivered.
If the product does not meet these conditions, the return will not be accepted.
Shipping costs incurred by the return will be borne by the Customer, except in cases where the product arrived defective or with errors attributable to www.thebiteequestrian.com.
Once the product has been received at our facilities and its condition verified, the corresponding refund will be issued within a maximum period of 30 calendar days.
